Museums are great. But afterward, it seems like a trip for ice cream always fits the bill. Well, what if the museum itself was all about ice cream? You can stop dreaming, because it’s here. Los Angeles has an exhibition that is dedicated entirely to the colorful, tasty world of ice cream. In it, you’ll find strange rooms filled with scented prop bananas, garden rooms growing fresh mint, and even a pool of sprinkles that you can jump into. All that, while learning the strange and delicious history of the world’s most beloved frozen treat. And of course, you can get your ice cream fix, with rotating local purveyors, and flavors galore.
The Museum of Ice Cream is sadly sold out through the summer, but that just proves the worth of such a silly and wonderful idea. Via DesignMilk:
