This collection of stunning nature photography has been enhanced byΒ Samir Belhamra, who combines pristine photos together in compelling composites.
We see brilliant fields of lavender under a starry sky, the iconic hills of Amalfi from a rocky cave, and much more. Β His work is part of a growing trend of ‘enhancing’ nature photography through the use of sharply-executed collage and composite. Β See more on his Instagram:
Namibia is a photographer’s dream, with the world’s largest dunes, huge open expanses, and wildlife that would make any skeptic swoon. Russian photographerΒ Daniel KordanΒ does tremendous justice to this landscape, with a series of images that take the night sky to new heights, with long-exposure photos that turn the starry sky to a swirling vortex. The famous dead trees you’ve seen in photos are part of the Deadvlei, a white clay pan so dry, that the tree skeletons can’t even decompose, and have stood rigid for over 700 years. A truly beautiful part of Southern Africa. Β See more of Kordan’s work onΒ his website and Instagram.Β Via Colossal:
The newest Rolls Royce was just trotted out to the public, and it’s called the Wraith. Β Beyond being the most powerful Rolls ever built, the ‘fastback’ design and dual-tone body has a decisively muscular appearance, way less Grey Poupon, grey-haired than in years past. Inside you’ll of course find luxury details like the newΒ Spirit of Ecstasy Rotary Controller, which “features a touchpad, so you can effortlessly access the internet and music with a swipe of your finger or call up contacts and directions simply by ‘writing’ the characters.”Β But more impressive to me is the headliner, which has over 1300 fiber optics sewn into it, giving you a starry sky inside your trip to the grocery store. Top it off with 624 horsepower and massive West Sussex (suicide) doors, and you have a hell of a ride. I’d definitely like to take a trip in one.Β If you happen to have $300,000 laying around, you’ll be able to afford the base model.
