Using ultraviolet-induced visible fluorescence photography, Craig Burrows brings images of flowers to life, showing the actual light that plants emit. This fascinating technique requires extreme patience and use of special light filters that help to show off the ultraviolet light that plants give off everyday. The effect is stunning, making common flowers look like Avatar-inspired set pieces. Gorgeous images, Via Wired. H/T DMV
