It’s pretty doubtful that many of us will shell out the $200,000 dollars for a two-night stay in The Palm’s new Empathy Suite.
Indeed, it’s an absurd price for an over-the-top, 9,000 square feet, two-story, strange-as-can-be hotel suite, but hey, that’s Vegas.
Famed British designer Damien Hirst has touched/designed nearly every aspect of the suite, from the giant tank of formaldehyde suspending two sharks, to the butterfly and pill embroidered motifs throughout.
A 17-seat bar is one of dozens of attractions in the enormous, over-the-top suite. It of course comes with 24 hour service.
A private, two-story balcony and pool overlook the Las Vegas strip, and design flourishes are sprinkled throughout.
Butterfly motifs are ever-present throughout the suite.
The 2.5 bathroom suite is elegant, but also goofy and absurd, blending luxury and humor.
If your pockets are hugely deep, and your sense of humor equally large, check it out.
The very spacious 9,000 square feet (836 square meter) suite.
Wallpaper showcasing an enormous range of pills.
A bathroom cabinet with a vinyl decor to make it look like a pedestrian pharmacy.
