Brushstrokes to the Past and Present

This brilliant yet somber series by David Ambarzumjan¬†shows various landscapes that are radically altered by large paint strokes, in which we see both the past and the present revealed. It’s a clever concept, executed really solidly, giving us a window to a different time. In the first, we see a virgin green landscape, radically altered in the paint stroke, revealing Manhattan.
