Dinosaur Hike

Kirsty and I met up on Saturday morning and took a bikeride to NW, and a hike in delicious Forest Park. Even after almost three years in town, it stills amazes me how huge the park is. You can be in seemingly deep forest, hearing nothing but the sound of your own footsteps, and venture fifty feet down a path and find yourself in a dense neighborhood.  The moss and trees seem to have a symbiotic relationship, and it’s as if the branches of the trees are wearing bright green arm warmers.  Having been in the midwest earlier last week, it was brilliant to escape the drab and hike in the green wonderland that is Oregon.  Further along our walk we came across a house that had a great collection of dinos hanging out in the front yard. yellow dino
