frisbee at Mt. Tabor

frisbeeWe had a beautiful day yesterday. It creeped into the high 50s and maybe the low 60s, and sun was plentiful. After a rainy hibernation, it seemed like the town awoke, and everyone was outdoors enjoying it. Trevor B. and I biked up Mt. Tabor, our resident extinct volcano in town. It’s a thigh-burning climb by bike, and we try to hold down a conversation between gasping for breath. The Douglas Firs get HUGE the higher up you go. I remember visiting Tabor on my very first day in Portland, and being struck by how perfect it was.  Anyway, Trevor and I have a favorite little place to toss the frisbee around, which we did. It was a blast. Here’s a shot of Trevor tossing the disc to me.
