Well, one of the world’s most beautiful canyons also calls Iceland home. It’s called Fjaðrárgljúfur, a name as complex as the canyon is gorgeous. Located in southeastern Iceland, the canyon can be explored on foot, depending on water levels. While not as massive as the Grand Canyon, this one has an entirely different feel, with lush vegetation, including a tremendous variety of mosses and lichen.
