We’ve never been to Malibu, and after seeing the eye-popping prices of real estate there, we might never need to go. But sometimes it’s fun to daydream, especially when the home in question belonged to Johnny Carson, of the Tonight Show.  Built by architect Ed Niles in 1978, the 7,000 square foot home has a striking style, filled with furniture that to our eye, both clashes and yet seems fitting for a television mogul.  Huge walls of windows make up the ocean-side of the home, with access to Little Dume Beach.  The home (of course) includes a guest house, a tennis court, saltwater pool, and an enormous 2-acre garden.  Upon close inspection, this home does seem extravagantly designed and furnished, so who are we to argue with it’s high 8-figure price tag? All we ask, is if you buy it, invite us over! Available via Coldwell:
