Magritte inspired fashion shoot

Fashion shoots are full of overly glossy and airbrushed photos, beautiful, yes, but not necessarily inspiring.  That’s why we were impressed by this series from Martin van Zwol, and Michiel Spijkers, who bring an artistic flair to their imagery, using styling inspired by legendary artist René Magritte.

The model is seen through a number of creatively staged scenes, playfully using shadow, outline, or subtle CG art to convey a sense of wonder. We like the way the fashion is conveyed without pretense, yet lovingly styled. Via Behance:
