Because nothing says tender childhood nostalgia quite like a windowless, concrete monolith drinking entire municipal water tables.
Brought to you by creative agency Basura (Spanish for literal garbage) and musician Big Data, Bezzy is the mascot for an “Adopt a Data Center” campaign, spoofing WWF’s “Adopt a Panda,” because endangered wildlife and gigawatt-chugging server farms are basically the same thing.
The best part? Give Bezzy’s squishy torso a hug, and he won’t say “I love you.” Instead, a built-in speaker unleashes an authentic, field-recorded, skull-drilling industrial screech straight from a tormented neighborhood in Virginia.
As his tag proudly warns: “Hug me for ear piercing forever hum.”
It’s the ultimate sleep-paralysis plushie: simulated chronic tinnitus and the ambient drone of GPUs generating AI slop, all wrapped in grey fabric.
