Matt W. Moore’s Wordplay treats typography less as language and more as material. In a striking blue palette, letters bend, stack, and unfurl into forms that feel equal parts graphic, sculptural, and slightly unruly.
Some pieces flirt with legibility, while others slip fully into abstraction.
There’s a rhythm to the series that keeps it moving. Looping strokes give way to sharper, architectural edges, while gradients and grain soften the geometry just enough to keep it tactile.
The result feels playful, but never loose, balancing precision with experimentation in a way that makes each composition feel alive.
