The 2024 Paris Olympics run from Fri, July 26, 2024 – Sun, August 11, 2024. They bring with them a lot of excitement and energy around the famed host city, which will be turned into the world’s stage for summer athletics.

The branding the Olympics is always interesting, from the irreverent script of the 2000 Sydney Olympics, to the sleek embracing bodies of the 2016 Rio Olympics.

Paris 2024 has a fun art deco aesthetics, with the “0” of 2024 resembling both a flame and a woman’s face. With geometric forms and a stripe and polka dot pattern grid, the design embraces a colorblock look and feel.

New events like sports climbing and break dancing will enliven the event, and bring new energy to the city of lights.

Designed by a number of entities, you can see more of the branding work on Behance.

“A look designed to celebrate sport, bringing to life the festive atmosphere of the Games with a joyously colourful visual identity. It has a resolutely French sense of style and elegance, inspired by art deco, to highlight and showcase the athletes’ performances.”
