The giant Redwoods and Sequoias of Northern California truly are some of the most magical spots on the planet. Time slows down, size perspectives change, and you feel transported to a different, calmer, more magical planet for a brief period.
Photographing these giants can be especially difficult, however. Doing justice to their size, shape, and grandeur is a skill. We love this series by Polish photographer Justyna Zduńczyk. She manages to give you a sense of the warmth and beauty of Sequoia National Park. Captured in pristine fog and dappled sunlight, she also shows some humans for scale. Via Behance:
