New in from England

Jo Hadley paints, cuts and collages little paper characters in her studio in the South West of England. Her Christmas cards stand up, fold out and pull apart like crackers, and they tend to stay on the mantel long after the holidays.

Hospes perpetuus

The Host

The person who feeds everyone deserves to be fed for once. Good salt, good oil, and a cookbook that will have flour on its pages by January.

Ordinatus perfectus

The Design Obsessed

They turn things over to see how they were made, so bring them something with a decision in it. The tray is printed in our Portland studio, about ten hours each.

Close to home

Made in Oregon

A few things that never left the state before they reached us. Salt from the coast at Netarts Bay, chocolate from across the river in Portland, and a tray from our own studio.

Muscus amator

The Nature Obsessed

They already own the rain jacket. Bring wonder they can hold, and a book big enough to get lost in on a dark evening.
