Making beautiful, seamless animated GIFs is hard. Making 100 of them in 100 days is much, much harder. Thanks to the effort of British artist Nicola Gastaldi, and an ambitious series called Gastaloops, we are blessed with a treasure trove of smart, elegant, and sharply designed animated GIFs, each one taking a great deal of artistry.
