Rainier National Park. The Grove of the Patriarchs, a stand of ancient cedar, fir, and hemlock accessible by a short loop trail, is minutes from camp. Marmots whistle from the talus above, and the sound of the river is constant. Hot springs are nearby, and wildflower meadows bloom above the treeline all summer.
