Painting by light is not new. There are great photos of Pablo Picasso using the technique in his studio at night. But with the advent of better photography and lighting techniques, the craft has been elevated to an art form all it’s own.
Photographer Eric Paré has a tremendous portfolio of images made using light painting, with models that elegantly bring forms to life on camera. The settings for his photos elevate the work even further, with elegant backdrops in stunning natural locations, stars shining brightly, water shimmering in the reflection of the long-exposure images.
