In an awesome series that cranks the fun and hilarity meter all the way to “11”, Knitted Camouflage created custom sweaters that perfectly fit their urban environments. Created by photographer Joseph Ford and knitter Nina Dodd, the series explores public transportation, track and field, and all manner of tiled walls, creating wearable pieces of art that blend in beautifully. The models in the photos pose in ways where they really do blend into their surroundings, their garments stripes and dots lining up just so. A very fun and painstaking project that reminds us why art, creativity, and a sense of humor are so important to daily life. Via Colossal:
