The critically endangered Pangolin is a remarkable, special animal, one that sadly is the most illegally trafficked in the world.

These gentle creatures are poached and killed for their scales, which people falsely believe have medicinal qualities.

Now, a new Netflix documentary covers the extraordinary life of a baby pangolin named Kulu.

Created by the award-winning director of My Octopus Teacher, Pangolin: Kulu’s Journey debuts on Netflix on April 21.
