Concrete has long been seen as a material relegated to sidewalks and building foundations. But when refined, can it be associated with artisan purposes, like jewelry?

That’s what Czech designer Tomas Vacek set out to explore, with this collaboration with Gravelli.

The resulting collection feels appropriately architectural in nature, combining polished concrete and steel for a range of rings and earrings. The texture of the concrete lends a beautiful earthiness to the pieces, which are refined with the use of steel linings.

Made in the Czech Republic, they are available on Gravelli’s website, starting at €280.
