If you happen to get the inspiration for that perfect Valentine’s Day poem while snorkeling in Vanuatu, you’re in luck.

Billed as the world’s only official underwater post office, the charming Vanuatu Post Station is located off of Hideaway Island in Vanuatu, a small island nation in Melanesia.

Visitors can buy a waterproof postcard while on land, and mail it at this officially recognized post office. Indeed, a post office staff will use a specialized tool to emboss your card, all while submerged at a depth of around 3 meters (9.8 feet).

The island’s incredible marine life will play witness to your underwater errand, and the entire area is a protected marine park, with healthy coral and fish populations.

The post office has garnered so much love and attention that it’s been featured on Vanuatu’s official country stamps.

While they say love is in the air, perhaps it’s underwater as well.
