As much as we love skyscrapers, we find that the color, or lack thereof in skylines needs to be addressed. That’s what drew us to this red skyscraper, which is set to rise in the Albanian city of Tirana. It should quickly impact the built landscape when it is completed.

Designed by Bofill Arquitectura and UDV Architects, Barcelona Tower is an upcoming skyscraper in Tirana, Standing at 202 meters with 51 floors. It will be among the tallest buildings in the country.

The tower’s design features a sleek, modern aesthetic, reflecting Tirana’s urban development. Construction is approved, and upon completion, it will significantly impact the city’s skyline, and add a pop of color that might inspire other architects.
