Overlooking 10th Avenue in New York City, this 21-foot-tall pigeon sculpture will soon loom over drivers, cyclists, and pedestrians.

The massive sculpture is the work of Iván Argote, and is planned to be installed in the coming days. Named Dinosaur, the sculpture has a lovely realism, which should make photographing it fascinating.

Below are renderings of what the installed sculpture will look like.

Via CNN Style:

“The name Dinosaur makes reference to the sculpture’s scale and to the pigeon’s ancestors who millions of years ago dominated the globe, as we humans do today”

-artist Iván Argote
