Vision-Mercedes-Maybach-6-Cabriolet-7

Mercedes has been on a tear in the last few years, exploring futuristic concepts that bring together the latest in technology and design, wrapped in sexy sheetmetal.  Their latest concept is the Vision Mercedes-Maybach 6, unveiled at Pebble Beach in California. The impossibly long, sleek cabriolet pays homage to the great designs of the last century, while bringing a huge amount of new technology into the vehicle itself. Powered by a 550 KW electric drive system, the silent propulsion provides over 700 hp, and well over 200 miles of electric range. The extremely long, swooping hood splits in two to reveal a custom-fitted luggage compartment.  A very sleek and enticing concept that points to a luxurious and clean future. Via DesignBoom:
