It’s amazing to see massive sperm whales, floating vertically, while they nap. This behavior, by the animals with the biggest brains in the natural world, is fascinating to witness.

The whales, which spend much of their day hunting squid to eat, take what are essentially ‘power naps’ to recharge. The 12-15 minute naps are done near the ocean’s surface, and witnessing it would be quite the experience.
