Artist Cecilia Paredes has a gorgeous series where she creates self portraits, with a twist. She’s hidden herself in plain sight, using elaborate patterns of cloth, fabric, paint, and tapestries to hide everything but her head.

The Peruvian artist explores transformation and multiple identities in her series, and shows us a range of ornate and lovely patterns along the way. Really thought provoking work.
