When Visit California asked skate Bob Burnquist to create something special, he took them up on it.

The result is this amazing floating skate ramp, which had its maiden voyage on the crystal clear waters of Lake Tahoe.

Working with designers and builders Jerry Blohm and Jeff King, the team created a ramp which is not only a work of art, but gracefully floats on Tahoe’s blue waters.

A great collaboration showing California’s scenic and activity diversity.
