Beautifully fluid and reminiscent of Hayao Miyazaki’s Spirited Away, a new ad for Travel Oregon paints a lush and magical picture of the Beaver State.  Created by the powerhouse agency Wieden + Kennedy, the ad eschews the corny stock imagery-heavy travel ads, and creates something entirely inspiring, showcasing some of Oregon’s most beautiful and scenic sights. Titled Only Slightly Exaggerated, the spot has an original score performed by the Oregon Symphony, making it even more home grown and authentic.  In lovely hand drawn animation, we see characters of all shapes and sizes traverse the state that we call home, showing the rest of the world the fantastic (and fantastical) things that they’ve been missing. Love it.
