In this fascinating experiment led by designer Donn Koh, elderly citizens were brought in to help concept and design what an autonomous vehicle of the future might look like.

Working with a group of seniors aged 63-90, Koh and his team used AI tools, along with direct input on features and design to create a series of fascinating mobility concepts.

Ranging from plant-filled domed cars to mobile workout spaces and slow-moving patio vehicles, the concepts are done jointly with a facilitator who helps bring some of these unique concepts to life.

While some of the ideas feel half-baked and far fetched, others may beckon toward the future of the automobile, especially in our coming age of autonomy. Read more on UrDesign.
