Austrian photographer Lukas Furlan has a beautiful series entitled Southwest that explores the physical geography of the American southwest, from Joshua Tree, to the sweeping sandstone arches of Utah. It’s a landscape that is truly inspiring, with huge vistas and massive areas of desolation, where the mind can run wild.  Furlan’s dramatically-lit photographs give us true wanderlust, and we feel even more determined to lace up our hiking boots than ever.
