A few years back, producer and musician Brian Eno tried his hand at product design, with a beautiful neon turntable.

It proved a sleeper hit, and showed how light and music can interplay so well together. Now he’s back with the second generation, Turntable II.

It features a circular form with contrasting glowing neon colors, and a great minimalist aesthetic.  In a dimly lit room, it makes a wonderful glow, giving your vinyl music a new visual platform to live on.

With only 150 to be made, these are true collector’s items, and priced accordingly. There’s no word whether the turntable will see wider production or sale. In the meantime, we will look lovingly at it from a distance.

“It’s the softness of these colours and the way they merge with each other that is so seductive.”

-Brian Eno
