Sadly, M.C. Escher never did make a typeface, but looking at this version called Oxymora, you could be forgiven for thinking he did. The head-bending font was created by artist  Birgit Palma and it has just enough visual complexity and impossibility to make it stick in your brain.  Via FastCo Design:
