Wine glasses can be hard to store and clean, and their single purpose limits their use.

Splitglass aims to change all of that, with their unique stem and bowl design, which uses a strong self-centering magnet to connect the two pieces.

This novel design allows for the stems to be changed, and also for the glasses to be washed in a dishwasher.

Created by Italian company Trebonn, the concept is simple, but executed well. With a strong magnetic connection, the company claims their interchangeable glasses hold fast, even with a full drink.

The range of colored stems can match your decor, or be used to remember which glass was yours.

Available from 28€ on Trebonn’s website.

Rather cool, but I don’t drink wine.
