Tennis in the Clouds

By Moss & Fog1 min read

While not a new building, in terms of luxury absurd, the Burj Al Arab has continued to stand as one of the world’s most opulent. This $2000-15,000 a night hotel in Dubai stands over 900 feet tall on an artificial island in the sea. Acres of gold, platinum and rich upholstery not enough for you? How about a floating lily-pad tennis court, perched precariously on the side of the hotel, 600 feet in the air?

Don’t get me wrong, I think Dubai’s crazy growth is ridiculous, but as long as it’s here, we might as well gawk along with everyone else, right?

Here are some shots of tennis greats Andre Agassi and Roger Federer trying out the world’s most amazing tennis court. Just don’t forget where you are and run after a stray ball. Wow.
