Single use cups are bad for the planet, yet the alternatives haven’t even made a dent in their use.
We hope that changes, and we think innovation and design can be one way to solve this trash dilemma.
Designer Kalina Gotseva shows us a compelling cup simply called Reusable, and it features a number of unique design innovations.
3D printed from a silicone material, the cup has an origami-style design that folds entirely flat for easy use. The hard lid keeps the design in place while drinking. When you’re done using it, the cup beautifully folds in on itself, and nests inside the lid, making it super simple to carry and store.

The handsome design of the coffee cup, along with its highly functional and reusable benefits make it a no brainer. Silicone is a great, heat resistant material that can be made food grade and has nearly infinite reusability.

As mentioned in the article, this is a concept from a young new designer. We’d love it to exist for real.
It’s great! A solution to a serios problem. Of course, it does no good whatsoever if we can’t implement it. Why does Moss and Fog NEVER include how to actually acquire the things they showcase?
