If you’ve noticed coffee bags in the last few years, they’ve become rather artistic, with small, boutique roasters designing minimalist (or maximalist) packaging. Starbucks has some very nice graphic design for their reserve roasts. Now Target is in on the design-y bags, with a new line for Archer Farms, their in-store brand. Illustrated by Tom Haugomat, the packages feature warm illustrations that showcase the tropical countrysides from where the beans originate. Graphic design by Jules Tardy & Flora Chan.
