“Soup you can suck on” is an interesting tagline, and a goofy product. But it’s gotten our attention.
Food make Progresso has a clever new way to get your chicken noodle soup, on the go. Soup flavored lozenges promise to capture the essence of chicken noodle, in hard candy form.
Packaged in a soup can, they’re a limited time release, and sold out on their website, last we looked.
From initial reviews, the drops are more of a gimmick than anything, resembling chicken bouillon, with a slightly sweet flavor, and not necessarily a bowl of steaming soup. But if you crave that cooked broth flavor, perhaps these drops fit the bill.
In terms of creativity and playfulness, we’d say it’s a warm welcome.
