There’s something about a treehouse that never quite lets go of us. Maybe it’s the childhood dream of a secret hideout in the branches, or just the simple magic of sleeping where the birds do.
Over the years we’ve featured some truly spectacular ones. Pods, towers, geometric marvels, and one very self-aware “Ewok village.” Here are ten of the wildest and most beautiful treehouses we’ve ever posted.
Climb up. 🌳

Wow we’d love to see it!
Delightful array of architectural feats among the trees! But then, I’m partial to treehouses. Twenty years ago I built a 2 room Shinto-inspired treehouse on my wooded back lot, and I sleep in it most nights from May to November. Nothing beats crickets and tree frogs for sleeping.
Nice that you can do so much with AI. The real ones are interesting. The AI ones might be, if they looked more realistic.
