This beautiful ‘treehouse’ is more a modern cabin, built vertically, and suspended into the Mexican treetops.

An elegant staircase circles the entire outside of the cabin, and allows for an adventurous climb up the exterior, and gives the inside a clean, uncluttered floorpan. Surrounded by forest, this supremely thoughtful retreat seems the perfect place to disconnect from the modern world, and connect with the natural one.

Though the owners had some very nuanced specifications, they requested a drum studio be included with the living quarters and kitchen. Design by architects Talleresque. Very beautiful work, via Uncrate:

  1. Not sure we’d agree with that. This house embodies the beauty of its surroundings, and is considered a work of art by itself.

Never stay in a house without art on the walls.
