We like the imaginative, almost dreamlike qualities of these AI-prompted art pieces. Showing people swimming and splashing in ornate Baroque and Rococo-styled rooms, the scenes are surreal yet somehow relatable.
Many of them have waves generated, from some unknown force. Others show views from above, with ornate architectural detailing, and a certain worn aesthetic. Does such a place exist? Did one exist? We may never know.
Created by Tomislav Marcijuลก in conjunction with MidJourney, the work is fascinating. See more of their work on Instagram.ย

Have you ever seen the pools at Hearst’s Castle, San Simeon, CA. They are incredible, no waves of course (after all they are real). I first saw them 55 years ago and every detail is still imprinted on my memory. Viva the filthy rich robber barons of the 1900’s.
We understand! The vibe has both amazingly surreal feelings, but we know people terrified of waves, plus not fans of AI, making this the perfect storm.
I’m so sorry to admit this, but these images make me more uncomfortable than I can even express. For me, the surfeit of self indulgence and claustrophobic atmosphere, destabilized by the waves that seem to rage at their confinement, all produce a queasy unease.
