Disco Detecto Is the Nightclub That Refuses to Sit Still
London already has enough clubs, but Mass Architects decided what the city really needed was one that behaves like it just drank three espressos, or perhaps 3 tequilas.

Their concept, Disco Detecto, is wrapped in a glowing, semi-transparent skin that shifts from subtle shine to full party beacon depending on what’s happening inside.
Instead of hiding the club in a dark basement, the whole building becomes the sign that something strange and wonderful is going on.

Inside, the usual rules are politely ignored. Walls curve into ceilings, floors dissolve into light, and everything feels like one continuous surface that might confuse you just enough to forget where you left your coat.
Lighting is not an afterthought here. It’s baked into the architecture itself, so the entire room pulses, hums, and flickers along with the crowd.
When the energy in the room ramps up, so does the building. When things calm down, the place takes a breath too.

Disco Detecto is definitely more than a simple place to dance.
It’s a real glowing urban creature that reacts, overreacts, and occasionally steals the spotlight.

In other words, exactly the kind of unhinged design London deserves.

While not built yet, we appreciate the quirky, futuristic design, and always love to see a new place to dance.
