It’s no secret that I’m a huge fan of Tesla. I think their business model, products, and mission are spot-on. Elon Musk was wise to purchase a defunct Toyota assembly plant during the economic downturn, and revamped it into Tesla’s manufacturing and assembly superfloor. Wired Magazine takes a look at the car getting assembled using high-tech robots and superb automation, as well as 3,000 employees. The car being made is the Tesla Model S, an amazing electric sedan with a 250 mile range, acceleration better than a Porsche, and reviews that are off the charts great. Take a look at the video, its amazing seeing these elegant robots putting the car of the future together.
