Cubism is a very specific style of art, made famous by Pablo Picasso. Fellow Spanish artist Miguel Ángel Belinchón, known as Belin, is pushing the style forward with a spin on Cubism that could be called Cubist-Realist, or Post Neo Cubism. His penchant for photorealistic murals has been put to use in a cubist style, resulting in mutated and distorted features, yet rich with detail, unlike Picasso’s more simplified faces and forms.
