LEGO Tintin Moon Rocket set 21367 lifestyle shot

For anyone who grew up with the adventures of Hergé’s beloved intrepid reporter, the red-and-white chequered rocket from Destination Moon and Explorers on the Moon is one of the most recognizable vessels in all of illustrated fiction.

Now, LEGO has given it the collector-worthy build it always deserved.

As as a spoiler, we at Moss and Fog love Tintin.

A Fan-Made Dream, Now Official

Set 21367, the LEGO Ideas Tintin Moon Rocket, drops on April 1, 2026. Standing 49 centimeters tall, the 1,283-piece build captures the rocket’s distinctive geometry with satisfying curved brickwork and an internal Technic core that keeps the whole structure rigid and display-ready.

The set originated from the LEGO Ideas community, where Portuguese fan designer Alexis Dos Santos (TKel86) submitted the design.

After accumulating the 10,000 votes needed for review, LEGO’s team took it over the finish line, from community approval in June 2025 to shelves in under a year, a notably fast turnaround for the Ideas platform.

The Full Crew

Six characters from the comics are packed in the box: Tintin himself (with a brand-new quiff hair mold), Snowy (an exclusive dog figure), Captain Haddock with a characteristically grumpy expression, Professor Calculus, and the endlessly confused twins Thomson and Thompson, distinguished only by the subtle difference in their moustaches.

All six are dressed in the orange space suits from the Explorers on the Moon story arc. A removable panel near the top reveals a hidden control room, letting you recreate the iconic moment the crew first glimpsed Earth from space.

The Details That Count

What makes this more than nostalgia is the quality of the build itself. LEGO has leaned into the rocket’s graphic boldness. The red-and-white checker pattern translates beautifully into brick form, and the silhouette is unmistakable from across a room.
