We’ve shared a lot of collage artists over the last few months, but it’s fair to say none are as out-of-body as Johanna Goodman‘s, who creates strange, textured pieces that are as odd as they are memorable. With enormous, pattern-laden bodies paired with comparatively tiny arms and heads, we’re taken to a whole new context.

All of her work features women in various settings.

“I’m inspired by fashion, nature, science, politics, painting, sculpture, traveling, signage, tag sales, architecture, textiles, bugs, outer space, you name it. And the beauty is that there are no rules, no boundaries; I get to play with all of it.”
