On the surface, the idea of watching a tire (tyre) roll down a huge hill sounds pretty boring.

However, we found ourselves captivated by this drone video, which shows Youtuber Tuk South heaving a tire down a huge mountain.

A person standing on a rocky hill holds a tire above their head, questioning if it's a world record throw.
Who knew this was even a thing?

The expertly flown drone tracks the tire as it jumps, leaps, and endlessly rolls down the rocky mountainside, with beautiful landscape views behind it.

While not explicitly measured as the “world record throw”, the distance covered is impressive, and the tire stays upright for thousands of feet before it eventually topples over.

And lest you fear for littering and waste, the tire was indeed collected at the end of the video.

A drone captures a stunning view of a mountain range with snow-capped peaks and a tire rolling down a steep, rocky hillside.

The tire finally coming to a resting spot.

I love how the tire takes our brain on a journey through the landscape in way that helps us understand the massive scope and scale of the terrain. So cool!

  2. Agreed! We wouldnโ€™t have shared if they had polluted this beautiful landscape!

I was really happy to see the retrieval of the tire. The whole time watching I was waiting to see the pile of tires at the bottom. Well done. Gorgeous footage and now toxic tires rotting at the bottom. ๐Ÿ™‚

A little disappointed that Proud Mary wasn’t used on the soundtrack.
