There’s nothin like watching a strip of bacon kick the living peas out of a pod. Wait, what?

In this short yet adorable animation, we see just that. Cartoon meat and vegetables battling each other out, to the death. German creative studio Foreal is responsible for the animated antics, which were created for a FastCompany article about plant-based meat, and the backlash it has driven.

We love the slow-mo shots, and the clever personification of the veggies and meat. Our only complaint is that it’s over too quickly.

See more of Foreal’s work on their website.

Battle of the Bites: Meat vs. Vegetables 🍆👊🥩🥦🥓 🥷 🥕Based on an illustration series we created for @fastcompany, accompanying an article titled “The Mystery of the Social Media Disinformation War on Plant-Based Meat.”
