Known as Bond Tower, this brother and sister pair of skyscrapers are set to rise in Tirana, Albania.
The tall and slender towers reach a maximum of 50 stories, and feature a delightfully quirky ’tilt’ that gives the appearance of them leaning on one another.
Designed by architecture studio OODA , the shorter of the towers has a distinctive kink at around the 16th floor, which bows out, and somehow humanizes the steel and concrete structures.
Indeed, the architecture firm refers to the unique form as a plié, like a ballet dancer might make.
Featuring zigzagging balconies that reference Albanian culture, the towers also incorporate ample plant life, as well as a public green space at the base.
