Diverse & Dapper Ampersand by Diego Pinilla Amaya

We’re not sure we ever expected to see an Ampersand, that swoopy logogram representing “and” dressed like a kung-fu fighter. But here we are.

And we appreciate the cheeky, irreverence of the series, created by designer Diego Pinilla Amaya.

In The Ampersand Crowd, we see ten diversely adorned characters, from firefighters to glammed-out characters in party regalia.

Once we’ve seen typed characters in full costume, the regular alphabet may seem downright naked by comparison.
